Can you turn a clock into a cup? A walk into a fuck? Are master of your fate like a sprocket of luck? have you thought of surrender? Have you welcomed defeat? Can you find forest where the nobody's meet? |

The Confederations Cup is interesting. It served Spain very well to take part and then go on to win the 2010 World Cup. We knew the stadiums, the atmosphere, the conditions and also the difficulties of a tournament which simulated the World Cup format. |
Paulo Coelho |
I can control my destiny, but not my fate. Destiny means there are opportunities to turn right or left, but fate is a one-way street. I believe we all have the choice as to whether we fulfil our destiny, but our fate is sealed. |
Harriet Tubman |
As I lay so sick on my bed, from Christmas till March, I was always praying for poor ole master. 'Pears like I didn't do nothing but pray for ole master. 'Oh, Lord, convert ole master;' 'Oh, dear Lord, change dat man's heart, and make him a Christian.' |
Lucille Ball |
Luck? I don't know anything about luck. I've never banked on it and I'm afraid of people who do. Luck to me is something else: Hard work - and realizing what is opportunity and what isn't. |
Napoleon Hill |
Before success comes in any man's life, he's sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and the most logical thing to do is to quit. That's exactly what the majority of men do. |

My mother is a fighter. After she battled polio and learned to walk again, the doctors told her she would be a cripple her entire life. Instead of accepting defeat, she refused this fate and went on to become the West African Women's Singles tennis champion in college. |
Ashton Eaton |
The great thing about this is, and not to pump my own tires, but I feel like I'm not maximized yet. I feel like I can still run faster, jump higher, which I think makes it special. Hopefully, going to London, I'll be welcomed into the decathlon community. |
Dean Inge |
If the universe is running down like a clock, the clock must have been wound up at a date which we could name if we knew it. The world, if it is to have an end in time, must have had a beginning in time. |
Josephine Baker |
I have walked into the palaces of kings and queens and into the houses of presidents. And much more. But I could not walk into a hotel in America and get a cup of coffee, and that made me mad. |
Lajos Egri |
No, you don't have to start your play with a premise. You can start with a character or an incident, or even a simple thought. This thought or incident grows, and the story slowly unfolds itself. You have time to find your premise in the mass of your material later. The important thing is to find it. |

I don't even know what my dreams were last night. I had two apartments in different parts of the city and one had a really cool layout but it had no windows except the one in the bathroom and it was like a tunnel cave and you had to walk through all the rooms to get to any other room. I also was dreaming that I was running around with these people that were not quite human and they lived in this forest and were running from some other human-like things that wanted to kill them. We ran through this forest and then through this field and found these giant frogs that make you hallucinate for some reason. I do not know why but then we were running around with frogs and it looked like we were running through a river but it was actually a field and I think the people chasing us started hallucinating and got lost.

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;

I had a dream that I was on this boat and for some reason, I was trying to get to this other boat with a bunch of people and we all had these little rafts. It started storming and the wind picked me and this other guy up and pushed us toward this shore. We couldn't go back out on the water and the storm kept throwing waves and other things ashore. I lost track of the other guy but I started climbing this tree. There are a bunch of them clustered together with branches wrapped around each other. I got creeped out because some of the branches looked like human hands and I thought people died in the trees. I kept climbing and eventually I got to a forest above the ground. I walked around for a bit and then looked at my surroundings. I couldn't see the water or anything below anymore. It just looked like a normal forest and I wondered if the other place was hell or something and then I woke up.

If you walk into a public place and shoot some white people theyll turn your crime into 24 hour entertainment and blast your name and picture over every channel for weeks. The media has provided you with a national venue to unload your insanity and anger and make the whole world feel as bad as you do.

I had a dream that I was running around a forest and there were giant kangaroos with wallabies in their pouches. I was supposed to run up close to them and they would chase me. The forest I was in sometimes changed into a shoreline and huge waves would hit hills as I ran past them. The kangaroos and wallabies turned into fish when they were wet. For some reason, I knew my goal was to separate them from each other but I didn't know why and when I did I was sad about it.

I had a dream that I was walking in a forest by a river with Shermz and Meghan. Meghan was telling me not to climb the trees but I really wanted to and I did. They had very few branches near the ground but became very dense if you climbed twenty or so feet. They were dense enough that you could basically walk around on the branches. I climbed down and saw some lobsters. One of the lobsters was gigantic, about as big as my body. It started having a seizure and I was for some reason concerned that the thing causing it to have a seizure could also cause me to have a seizure and I climbed a tree and ran away.
