The online credential, the online certificate is very different from an on campus certificate. And we really believe that online learning and the EdX platform and the EdX portal, these are ways in which - you can think of them as a rising tide that's going to lift all boats whether for students worldwide or on our campuses. |

You know that thing when you're not asleep but you're not awake, and you can't move your body? I had that kind of nightmare, and I felt like all my teeth were crumbling in my mouth. Now I have this fear of all my teeth being knocked out of my mouth somehow! |

I have my father's lopsided mouth. When I smile, my lips slope to one side. My doctor sister calls it my cerebral palsy mouth. I am very much a daddy's girl, and even though I would rather my smile wasn't crooked, there is something moving for me about having a mouth exactly like my father's. |

I'm a big online everything. But for me, shopping online started with music, obviously, then it went onto books, meditation CDs, and I just recently bought these electronic cigarettes. My husband is trying to quit smoking, so I went online and I bought those BluCigs cigarettes in every flavor for him. |

I don't think you should try to be anything you're not. If you're not smiling all the time or always happy - I don't think it matters. If you're having bad day, show you're having a bad day. Don't try to put up something that's fake. |

I don't have a pet, but I dream of someday getting a pug dog whom I will name Croque Monsieur so that I may alternate between calling him Croque, Monsieur or his full name: Croque Monsieur. I'll more than likely only use his first and last name most often when he's been bad. |

Italy in the first years got food, for the first year or the first periods got food. Then we got raw materials and then we got tool machines, let's say, instruments for working. |

I've always been someone who's believed in truth. I believe truth exists. I don't believe in relativism, a 'your truth, my truth' kind of a thing. However, I also believe that the truth must always be spoken in love - and that grace and truth are found in Jesus Christ. |

I'd always avoided stuff like 'Where are they now?' or 'Whatever happened to?' Just 'No thanks, thanks for calling.' You tell me, have you ever seen a 'Whatever happened to' where they seemed anything but pathetic? |

My very first kiss happened when I was 6, underneath some desks during 'nap time', but my first real kiss happened when I was 15 in the parking lot at a Mexican food restaurant. |

1: To get started, write one true sentence.
Hemingway had a simple trick for overcoming writer's block. In a memorable passage in A Moveable Feast, he writes:
Sometimes when I was starting a new story and I could not get it going, I would sit in front of the fire and squeeze the peel of the little oranges into the edge of the flame and watch the sputter of blue that they made. I would stand and look out over the roofs of Paris and think, "Do not worry. You have always written before and you will write now. All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence that you kno...

Stephen King’s 20 Rules for Writers
1. First write for yourself, and then worry about the audience. “When you write a story, you’re telling yourself the story. When you rewrite, your main job is taking out all the things that are not the story."
2. Don’t use passive voice. “Timid writers like passive verbs for the same reason that timid lovers like passive partners. The passive voice is safe.”

Read a book that you love again. If it's the second or third time, try to think about what kind of world the author believes in and how their writing reflects that belief.

Love Letter, was a computer worm that attacked tens of millions of Windows personal computers on and after 5 May 2000[1] local time in the Philippines when it started spreading as an email message with the subject line "ILOVEYOU" and the attachment "LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.txt.vbs".

So this is what happens guys. It's a romance comedy. It's a movie about a guy. Hes a plant. Not like a cactus. Hes a planted actor on a reality TV show like love is blind where they are supposed to fall in love and get married. Hes just goofin around but he actually falls in love with one of them. Then the one of them at some point figures out that hes a plant and shes like "did you ever even love me!? you were only in it for the money!" and he says "it started out that way but then I wanted to know the real you. I liked being at that tiki bar and I liked stirrin up stupid stuff. even though it was fake it was real." and then they smooch in the rain.

I want to write a program that allows me to have thousands of dialogs with myself over the course of a year or so. Every day I would open up a conversations and write response utterances and then it would cycle through all of them so that I would remember less clearly what happened in each dialog (which might help simulate having two people talking). I think this would be easy to do and could create an interesting corpus for building dialog systems. Now I'm just thinking about how you would constrain it to make it more useful, possibly for a particular task?

So is it not with me as with that Muse, Stirred by a painted beauty to his verse, Who heaven itself for ornament doth use And every fair with his fair doth rehearse, Making a couplement of proud compare With sun and moon, with earth and sea's rich gems, With April's first-born flowers, and all things rare, ...

I had a dream that I was looking out over my parents backyard and it was flooded. I could see them down by the river on a patch of grass that wasn't covered with water. The neighbor's yard was mostly above water, but a large portion of my parent's yard was underwater. Then I saw what looked like a huge fish near the edge of their property. It was the size of a large dog and it had eyes probably as big as my head. It looked like 2 or 3 eyes and it looked like it was mostly above water, but when it got to the land it crawled out and I could see a huge crablike body underneath. It was approaching my parents and I yelled out to them and they turned around. It froze, so I thought it was afraid of them and that they were safe. I put my coat on and went outside. I was standing far away from the water but I felt something on my back. I reached back and pulled something off of it. It was a big crab leg. Then I still felt something and I did it again. Another leg. Then I felt something biting m...
