There's never been any game plan or thread through my career. It's just happened that I've ricocheted from one interesting character to another. |
Hamlin Garland |
I remember a hundred lovely lakes, and recall the fragrant breath of pine and fir and cedar and poplar trees. The trail has strung upon it, as upon a thread of silk, opalescent dawns and saffron sunsets. |
Jeanne Calment |
Excuse me if I'm clinging on to life, but my parents wove me from tight thread. |
Jesse Jackson |
America is not a blanket woven from one thread, one color, one cloth. |
John Badham |
Monofilament is what you use to go fishing. The line on your fishing rod is probably going to be black. You get to the end of the line and you tie on this clear plastic, thin thread called monofilament. |
Lao Tzu |
Life and death are one thread, the same line viewed from different sides. |
Victor Hugo |
He, who every morning plans the transactions of the day, and follows that plan, carries a thread that will guide him through a labyrinth of the most busy life. |
Bailee Madison |
Something my mom and I have always said to each other is: 'We're not here for interviews. We're not here to get your picture taken. We're here to make a difference, and this is our opportunity to.' |
Jeff Abbott |
I do think Austin is a great town for writers; we have a lot of them here. But I grew up in Austin, and so I didn't move here because it was a creative mecca; I was just lucky to live here. |
Alex Ebert |
I try to give the music more of a campfire feel as opposed to a library atmosphere. I like when you can hear people hanging out in the songs and doing a little shuffling. It creates a feeling of participation. |

Well, it's really cool at first, and it's definitely a skill you can develop. You can get good at controlling your dreams, too (summoning new elements, or trying to render things differently (don't know how appropriate render is for word choice).
Exhibiting control is actually quite exhausting, ironically, and the in between stage (bad way to describe it) when you're on the verge of wakefulness and hanging on to a dream-state by a thread is quite an lonely, dark, barren, color-void space (not that there are very many colors in your dreams to begin with).
Personally, I feel it's much better...

and if it seems so far fetched that scientists are splicing animals together in secret experiments, take a look back at the countless ancient texts from the beginning of our known time speaking of hypbrid animals. this is in sumerian culture, egyptian, greek culture and more.
look for the slender thread that ties everything together to the truth. the concepts that have been repeating endlessly in our written history mean something.

I had a dream that I moved into a tiny apartment downtown and my friends stopped hanging out with me and none of the doors or windows in my apartment shut all the way and it was weird and uncomfortable.

I had a dream that I was hanging out with Jacob and Veronica. Jacob stabbed me in the leg with a needle for some reason and was like "look it doesn't hurt" and I was like "wow that's cool" and then a few seconds later the blood vessels in my leg started moving around like snakes under my skin and it freaked me out.

I had a dream that Eva and I and someone else were looking for this guy. We went to his house and walked past his garage and knocked on the door and he didn't answer. We waited for a bit and then we turned around and he was climbing this rope hanging from his garage and this moose was trying to get him and jumping around frantically. It was quite a scene and totally not something you could walk past and not notice but we managed to.
