I think it's dishonest to pretend that "stupid and bad" wasn't a result of people hating on homosexuality, and I think it's disrespectful to continue to use it with that definition. |

Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for. |
Billy Graham |
I think that the Bible teaches that homosexuality is a sin, but the Bible also teaches that pride is a sin, jealousy is a sin, and hate is a sin, evil thoughts are a sin. So I don't think that homosexuality should be chosen as the overwhelming sin that we are doing today. |
Adam Davidson |
Poverty is not the simple result of bad geography, bad culture, bad history. It's the result of us: of the ways that people choose to organize their societies. |
Clarence Darrow |
The law does not pretend to punish everything that is dishonest. That would seriously interfere with business. |
Rainer Werner Fassbinder |
The Jews have never been ashamed of being Jews, whereas homosexuals have been stupid enough to be ashamed of their homosexuality. |
Oscar Wilde |
If you pretend to be good, the world takes you very seriously. If you pretend to be bad, it doesn't. Such is the astounding stupidity of optimism. |
Mohamed ElBaradei |
We continue to have nuclear weapons relied on as a weapon of choice. If that policy were to continue, we continue to have countries who are in a security bind, if you like, or perceive themselves to be in security bind to look for acquisition of nuclear weapons. |
Joshua Jackson |
I hate people saying anything stupid. I don't really suffer fools very well at all. When people are acting like idiots, not that I'm not guilty of doing the odd idiotic thing myself from time to time, but when people say stupid things, it stresses me out. |
Scott Baio |
I very rarely came across rude or disrespectful people. I don't know how I slipped by all of them, but I honestly can't think of one experience off the top of my head that was like that. I'm sure they're there, but I'd have to think really hard to recall them. |
Marvin Hagler |
Sitting here now today, I can forgive a lot of the English people because it only takes a hand full of bad people to do something stupid like that and it can make the whole country look bad. |

The original definition of gay was "happy and carefree". Some time after that it became also a colloquil synonym for homosexuality. As time went on a third definition was adopted that means "stupid and bad". We've got a word here that has multiple accepted definitions so get with the times and don't be offended if somebody uses it differently then you do.

I'm thinking people need to get hip and get with it. If you can't stay with the trends you need to back up until you see a mirror where you can see how stupid and old you look right now, fo real.

it's about the fish so the story starts off with the bee saying something stupid to the turtle and then when the turtle makes it obvious that it was stupid... i forgot what he said the bee says "i feel so dumb. i can't believe i said that" and the turtle says "huh. there's nothing to worry about. i got your credit card. nothing you gotta worry about. not doing anything fishy"

At my work, we have meetings about how to improve software that doesn't exist, and probably never will. Most people pretend to read documentation about how the software works. Cuz I just write it for fun obviously ::emoji of an elephant doing the quirk jerk:: when they suggest software to use, I just ask them to do a competitive/comparative analysis if possible, and that usually solves it.

If people use the word gay with a negative connotation like "oh that's gay," (to mean "that's stupid"), and "straight" to mean something like "it's straight",(meaning "it's okay")
Then could one say: "That's so bi" to mean, it's confusing?

I did that for a month for about 2-3gs 6 years ago when the exchange rate sucked. If you go to those hostel websites and then just call the hostel it ends up being cheaper because those sites add in their fee. Also I met people that did couch surfing and had a great time. Also if turns out no other travelers are excited to meet an American. And everyone speaks English even if they pretend not to.

I don't know. It's hard to say. The architecture in my dreams is so interesting. I always imagine buildings that I think look really cool but when I wake up I know that they're completely impractical/impossible. Maybe the way that I interpreted it when I woke up made it look like it wasn't complete.
For the wolf thing, there was definitely a disinterest in the people in that park. Not being interested in what people were doing and wanting to wander off into nature.
None of the events in the dream reminded me of real people except when I was avoiding people it reminded me of my family. Maybe I w...

Unfortunately, I think the rise of chatbots or conversational agents is actually blurring the definition of spam. If a recruiter emails a bunch of people with generated personalized messages, is it spam or not? I certainly don't want to see it and the generated parts often sound super fake and wrong, so it seems even more like spam.

Irony. The term people love to use... incorrectly. On TV, in literature, between friends ? people misapply and misuse the word a million times a day. Even the pop anthem dedicated to the trope gets it wrong (or does it?). But you oughta know all this by now.
The fight over what is "ironic" and what isn't can be traced all the way back to Biblical times when Eve said to Adam, "The irony is that I don't even like apples." Adam took exception, and thus began the greatest of language debates.
More recently, this debate took hold of our entire office, pitting friend against friend, coworker aga...
