Yo, long time for sure! How have you been? |

You can stay too long in a job, that's for sure. But by the same token, in the 12 years I have been CEO of GE, there have been four CEOs of Toshiba. So there's too short a time to do it, and there's too long a time to do it. |

I want to make sure that teenage girls know that if you decide to keep your child, you have to get an education. You have to have a plan A, B, and C. Make sure you have a good support system. If all those things are not in place, it's going to be very, very hard - very, very lonely. |

I think that popular culture takes a long time to catch up to what's actually happening in the world. Women have had to take care of themselves for quite a while. Actually, not had to take of themselves, but have wanted to take care of themselves, so I think it's a big transition that our country and our society has been going through a long time. |

I've been a vegetarian for so long, I forgot how much I missed meat. You know you don't realize how important meat is to you until you don't have it for long time. |
Armie Hammer |
My entire life had been this long, pressured conversation about the family I represented. 'When you walk out the door, you represent us. You have to dress well and make sure your hair is combed.' |
Willie Nelson |
I been a long time leaving but I'm going to be a long time gone. |
Stephen Daldry |
Every now and then I have to teach directing. The thing about the theatre is that the most important thing you can do as a director is to make sure that everybody is in the same world - you have to create the world and make sure everyone buys into it. |
Dave Gahan |
Making a record with 'Depeche Mode' is not a simple process. It's quite complicated and long. We have the luxury of time. I'm not sure that's such a good thing when you're being creative. |
Paula Garces |
When I'm hired just to be an actress, I don't have to worry about anything else but showing up on set, making sure I know my lines and making sure I know what I'm bringing to the character. When I'm a creator and executive producer, I have to worry about the whole thing. |
Kevin Bacon |
I'm a vagabond. I have a suitcase that is ready to go at a moment's notice. The thought of being in one place for a long time, or playing one character for a long time, is terrifying for me. |

Long post but I need advice from you, Lynxe(r?)s.
Last week some time I got an envelope in the mail address to 'Current Resident'. Since I've had good experiences with participation trophies in the past, I opened it and it was a bunch of coupons. Now only my closest confidants know this but I've been unhappy with my razor for a long time so when one of these coupons was for a free razor I decided to plunge bravely into the unknown and order it. Now I've received this email from their service team with the following important line inside:
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any thoughts ...

"Had a manager a long time ago who wore a really nice hat outdoor (he was a little old fashioned). My co-workers and I found the exact same hat at the local mall and bought two. One was a 1/4 size larger, the other a 1/4 size smaller. Every now and then when he'd leave the hat in his office, for instance a trip to the restroom, we'd switch hats.
The questioning look on his face every time we switched was priceless. The size difference was just enough to mess with him, without making the hat look weird. I don't know if he every figured it out, it went on for a year and was still going on the day I left."

I fell asleep typing at work one day a long time ago and I woke up immediately but I looked at my screen and it said "I hope you can catch what you fish".

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer's lease hath all too short a date: Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimmed, And every fair from fair sometime declines, ...

It's no secret that Big Sherm smoke mad ganj. Lately been smoking about a half ounce a week. Sometimes when I am on a long run of being high from waking up to going to bed, I get lost in my head (lol wonder why) and I think that this is just how my brain and thoughts works now. But every time I take a break even for just a day or two, my head clears back up and thoughts flow naturally again. The point of me posting this is that weed is awesome. Everything in moderation (something I clearly have trouble with in all aspects of my life) but this really proves to me that ganj is great cuz I can just stop and be normal again. When I'm on a long kick of smoking I analyze how my brain is functioning and while it does have longterm effects, it really is crazy how I can get right back into things with just a few days of detox. I have quit drinking for the most part, next is cigarettes and weed.

The punkest patch I've seen in a long time: "Go vegan. Be queer. No gods. No governments". Up the punks. Up the punks. Up the punks.

I had a dream that I used a payphone in The Empty Bottle bar in Chicago to call into a radio station and request "Breed" by Nirvana. Wtf brain. First dream I've remembered in a long time and it's so detailed and mundane.
