A book has got smell. A new book smells great. An old book smells even better. An old book smells like ancient Egypt. |
Marcus Garvey |
A reading man and woman is a ready man and woman, but a writing man and woman is exact. |
Viola Davis |
I heard about the book and I said, 'Oh my god, I've got to read this book,' and I didn't know that a white woman wrote it. Nobody said that to me, they just said, 'The Help - Oh my god, you've got to read it.' Everyone failed to mention it was a white woman, I think, because nobody really wants to talk about race. |

During 'Saturday Night Fever' at the end of the first act dance number I tried to perform a split-jump, only I can't do them so I ended up on my ass followed by the most unsightly backward roll out of it, followed by the cast falling over in laughter and a good portion of the audience too. |
Bobby Cannavale |
I like flawed characters very much. A lot of times I get asked to do parts that are kind of small but key - three-scene roles that are three kick-ass scenes. Growing up, watching as many movies as I did, I was always into character actors like that. |
Frank Sinatra |
You gotta love livin', baby, 'cause dyin' is a pain in the ass. |
Frank Zappa |
Most people wouldn't know music if it came up and bit them on the ass. |
Henry Rollins |
Don't do anything by half. If you love someone, love them with all your soul. When you go to work, work your ass off. When you hate someone, hate them until it hurts. |
Kurt Cobain |
If it's illegal to rock and roll, throw my ass in jail! |
E. L. James |
Everyone's clamoring for the fourth book in the 'Fifty Shades' trilogy, which makes me laugh. Just the part of 'a fourth book in trilogy' that makes me laugh, not the clamoring for the next book. |

I aint need him then and i aint need him now. ima get through college without him, get a great job without him, marry a beautiful honey and have a bunch of kids and be a better father than he ever was."-willsmith

The great Tao flows everywhere. All things are born from it, yet it doesn't create them. It pours itself into its work, yet it makes no claim. It nourishes infinite worlds, yet it doesn't hold on to them. Since it is merged with all things ...

One time when I was younger, my brother was mowing the lawn and I was having a really great time chasing him. I was laughing a lot because of how annoying he thought I was. For whatever reason I thought it was so funny to see him try to flee me while on the lawn mower and it was also hilarious how mad he was getting, and I found the whole thing just too funny so I fell over laughing. Well my dog was also having a great time running around in circles in the yard bc i was and he was running really fast and ran over my face. His paw punched my eye and I had a black eye. Lol.

Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart—you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s true!—but when you're a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was ri...
